1. Our target
Global Talent Journey aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, on this website and in the member app.
This statement was written on 13 September 2026. It is based on automated checks and recorded browser test runs by the team, not on an independent audit.
2. What has been checked
On every build of this website, automated checks confirm:
- a “Skip to content” link, one main heading per page, and labelled header, navigation, main and footer areas;
- colour contrast of the design tokens in light and dark themes: at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for control borders and focus rings;
- links that stand on their own line are at least 44 pixels high, and the theme control has a visible label;
- visa category codes such as H-1B are never split across two lines;
- the example preview on the home page can be read with JavaScript turned off.
Two recorded browser test runs of the member app on 13 September 2026 covered:
- screens at widths from 320 to 1920 pixels in light and dark themes and in both languages, with no sideways scrolling;
- text enlarged to 200% and page zoom at 400% on a 320 pixel screen, and the reduced-motion setting;
- a walk through the app with the keyboard only;
- automated scans with the axe-core tool, which reported no violations after the issues it found were fixed.
3. Known gaps
- The app has not yet been tested with the VoiceOver or TalkBack screen readers on a real phone, or with real device keyboards and input methods.
- No testing with disabled users has taken place yet.
- On a slow mobile connection, signed-in app screens take longer than 2.5 seconds to show their main content.
- The sign-in and sign-up pages provided by the community engine have not been audited.
- Documents you upload to your vault are your own files; GTJ cannot change how accessible they are.
4. Tell us about a barrier

5. Legal background
GTJ is run by one person. As a micro-enterprise providing services, it is currently outside the obligations of the European Accessibility Act. WCAG 2.2 AA remains the target all the same, including for UK users under the Equality Act 2010.
