Refunds and cancellation
No payment is taken today and nothing is sold. This page says what that means now, and what would be published before anyone is ever charged.
This page will be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before registration opens. Last updated .
1. Today: nothing is sold
- Payments are switched off. Nothing is sold today, no card is asked for and nothing is charged, so there is nothing to refund or cancel.
- Community participation given during the launch period costs nothing, and members keep it when the launch period ends. Launch period
2. Separate things
- Uninstalling the app
- Removes the app from a device. Nothing is deleted or cancelled.
- Deleting your account
- Deletes your account and its data.
- A refund
- Returns money for a payment. Because no payment is taken today, there is nothing to refund. Your own files, export and deletion rights never depend on a payment.
3. If anything ever costs money
No refund and cancellation policy is needed while nothing is sold, and none has been decided. If GTJ ever introduces features that cost money, this page will set out, before anyone is charged and for each place GTJ would sell to:
- Withdrawal rights. As a starting point, the law gives consumers who buy online 14 days to withdraw from a service contract: in Türkiye under the Distance Contracts Regulation (Mesafeli Sözleşmeler Yönetmeliği), in the EU under the Consumer Rights Directive and in the UK under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Each law has its own conditions and exceptions, and GTJ will state how each applies.
- How a payment is refunded if a member withdraws after starting to use what they bought, and what happens to it if GTJ ever stops running that service.
- For professionals, what happens if someone pays and is never verified. Applying for verification and seeing the result cost nothing.
- How to cancel anything that renews, how reminders work, and how refunds for anything bought through the App Store or Google Play are handled by those stores.
- The pre-contract information and confirmation each law requires, shown at the point of payment.
GTJ will not use a blanket “no refunds” rule. Consumer rights that the law gives cannot be taken away by these pages.
These points are open decisions for the owner and for the lawyer who reviews the legal pages.
