How the community works, and what it is not for
Who can read the community, how it stays separate from your private workspace, and what it will not do for you.
What members do
Members share their own work, questions and ideas, and ask for specific feedback. They react to posts they find useful and contribute when they have something useful to say. Replies come from other members on a similar journey, not from lawyers.
There are no public like counts to chase, no daily streaks and no pressure to post.
Who can read it
Member discussions and profiles are not part of the public website. Reading the community needs an account. Examples on this website are fictional demonstrations, not member posts.
Closed access does not stop copying: a member who can read a post can still copy it. Do not post details that identify your case, and never post other people’s documents or details.
Registration is not open yet. There is no checkout here.
Your private workspace stays separate
What you prepare in your private workspace is never posted automatically. Sharing something with the community is a separate step you choose each time.
A verified professional’s listing or an administrator role does not open anyone’s private files.
What the community is not for
- It is not an official visa service. GTJ is not part of any government, and it is not a law firm or an endorsing body.
- It is not legal advice. Community discussions are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
- It does not assess applications or predict outcomes. A like, a badge or a reply is not a visa assessment, and a preparation percentage is not a chance of acceptance.
- It is not a place to trade likes, stars, follows or comments, on GTJ or on any other platform, and nobody is asked to prove an interaction somewhere else.
- It is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, call the local emergency number. The community rules list the numbers.
Rules, reports and appeals
Before your first post you accept eight community rules. The community rules page lists them in the same words and explains how reports, moderation decisions and appeals work.
Editorial status
